in every fight we think we're right but we still need to hear
and heed the words of those with courage, the ones who really care
it can be hard to admit were wrong even if we arent
but doing so can help keep strong other things of more importance
you do it for the fun you say youre getting high on life
but when your world comes crashing down its life that laughs at us
so hear me out, dont close your eyes and turn your head away
even though you dont agree i still have things to say
i know that i still love you, i feel like i always will
i know you love me back isnt that the biggest thrill?
