  Life Flows On

Did I ever just think life would be this way?

How could I?

The ride of all time has tossed and turned me

in its waters until I no longer know which end is up.

Just as soon as I regain my balance I am swept away again,

rolling, barreling straight foward... such an adrenaline rush!

Until crash!! 

I am slammed against something that I can't even make out.

Will I go on through?  Float around?  Or just get stuck there

floating along the edge belly up?

I can tell you this...

If that water is still flowing,

I will go along with it.

I will swim among the rapids and float in pools of calmness.

I will get swept away over the edge of tall cliffs,

And I will fall into the deep.

I will tumble, toss, and triumph until I no longer know which end is up.

And I will not care to know again

Because I am flowing with life.
