EMBARASSMENT
My eyes are wide, my face is red,
I can't believe what I've just said!

Spoke words that curdle my own blood,
My throat is dry like last week's mud,

Gulping loudly, calling moisture I lack,
I fear, if I speak, I will surely crack,

Rubbing salt into lemons, and then on my wounds,
Wounds my big mouth tore in me,
Deflating me, like a balloon.
