When the Sun Meets the Morning Sky

When the sun meets the morning sky,
They fall in love.
They fall in love
For the first time every day…

The sun sails in from the sea
To meet his love to be.
She sees him sailing on his way,
A lonely sky blushes,
And begins the day.

The strength of her love
Helps to hold him in the sky.
His love, lights the bold blue,
And she is not shy.
She sends birds to sing to him
So they never have to say good-bye.

While he promises the world
He starts with wonderland,
Making his visions come to life by hand.
Paintings and sculptures,
All in white,
The artist in him for her delight.

Midway through his journey
The navel of the sky…
I always had this hunch,
Lunch was just a lie.

Desires race,
He basks in her presence.
With this energy
He makes another present.

A soft grey bed,
To lay down beneath her.
Together now.
The bed shields them from our eyes
For their love is too powerful
And could cause us to die.

Scorching hot,
With an afternoon shower,
He pierces the sky.
She has hot flashes
And doesn’t question why.
The heavens nearly begin to tumble,
As the passion of their love
Emits a rhythmic rumble.

They leave their bed
And dance away together.
Their bond grows
Too strong to ever sever.

He tells her,
How he loves her from his core:
And so the day ends,
As she blushes once more.
