I met an elf who took me there,
To the place where strange things dwell,
He showed me things I had dreamt were true,
But never dreamt so well.

He was elusive as a ghost,
As spritely as could be,
I never thought that I would find,
Another quite like me.

He knew my feelings and my thoughts.
He could read me like a book.
He understood the way I was,
