A poem about a girl I met on a snowy night. |
Cold Snow, Warm Kiss Young man and a girl's first look One smile is all it took Took his hand and rolled on out She's the one, there is no doubt Now he smiles from ear to ear He's never felt more sincere Soft music and chasing lights Warm in here for a chilly night Captured each other's heart Young love just got a start Snow falling down on them Happiest I've ever been Tomorrow I'd be calling Can hardly wait for this Not long before they're falling Cold snow, warm kiss Time passed and feelings grew Something so pure and true Never meant to break her heart His shame kept them apart Years have passed them by They sit and wonder why Our lives were so relentless Why did we have to end this Apart they could not share How much they really cared Aging like fine wine Can't get back the time Tomorrow I'd be calling Can hardly wait for this Not long before they're falling Cold snow, warm kiss They met one afternoon Not a minute too soon The love they once shared Never died, they still cared Wonder why it took so long To find out they were wrong A chance at love again How will this story end They delight in one another And roll between the covers Thank God she still cared About the love they both shared Tomorrow I'd be calling Can hardly wait for this Not long before they're falling Cold snow, warm kiss |
