My relationship with someone
My mind is filled with words and pictures
Full of Hellish thoughts and Heavenly scriptures
Picked and torn to the brink of insanity
Constantly circling a lover's calamity
Attracted by love, blocked by fate
I dream a life we could create
All this, from someone I don't have

Her form is beauty, her face is fair
The sunlight dances in her dark hair
Her touch warms me, her smiles welcome
Thoughts without her are few and seldom
Seeing her is painful torture
My heart aches to reach out for her
Alas, she's someone I can't have

Between our souls there lies a wall
She runs to another's beckon call
Oh, beauty with heart so sweet
Why were we not first to meet?
I'm with you, close but distant
Ready to be yours in an instant
But you're someone I just can't have
