Ah, I remember the memory of a love once lost,
I remember the soft embraces that kept me from a dark loneliness,
I remember the gentle kisses that kept me strong through troublesome times,
I remember the long walks in sunset waters,
I remember the dance,
When we moved as one,
The tears,
When we wiped one another's eyes
The laughs,
When we giggled at nothing,
The sleepy nights,
When we stared into the stars,
And dreamt as one,
