I wrote this poem briefly after i moved. And this is the emotion of losing a friend.
I TRY TO BLOCK OUT THE PAIN OF REALIZING YOUR NOT MINE.
I TRY TO FORGET THAT IVE BEEN REPLACED.
I FORCE MYSELF TO THINK ABOUT HOW IT COULD HAVE BEEN.
HOW IT COULD HAVE WENT IF I HADNT BEEN FORCED.
FORCED AWAY FROM YOU.
STOLEN FROM THE COMFORT OF SEEING YOU EVERY DAY.
RIPPED FROM YOU.
FROM THE CUSHION OF KNOWING THAT I WAS HERE.
A MILE AWAY, WHEN YOU NEEDED ME.
TO SAVE YOU FROM YOURSELF, OR WORSE.
IM NOT THERE TO CODDLE YOU AND HOLD YOU WHEN YOU FALL.
IM NOT THERE TO HOLD YOU WHEN I NEED YOU, WHEN IM AT A MORTAL LOW. I NEED YOU.
AND YET I CANT HAVE YOU.
I DONT WANT YOU.
THOUGH I CRAVE YOU.
I CRAVE YOUR TOUCH.
A MERE STROKE OF YOUR HAND THROUGH MY HAIR.
A GENTLE TOUCH OF MY FACE TO YOUR SOFT APPENDAGES.
IT WOULD KEEP ME GOING THROUGH AN ETERNITY.
AND YET I CANT.
WE CANT.
COMMUNICATION IS LOST.
AT LEAST FOR NOW.
6-6-06 IS COMING. THE END IS NEAR.
