Shut Up

You say that you care.
You act like you do.
But when I’m not perfect.
I don’t know if it’s true.
Sometimes I don’t really.
Want to open my mouth.
But there are some things.
I just want to get out.
But if I talk to you.
Please don’t talk back.
Just sit there and listen.
There’s no need to attack.
My heart is aching.
Why can’t you see?
You don’t want me to be you.
But I don’t want to be me.
Right now I need you.
Not just to talk.
But to sit there and listen.
And then I’ll straighten my walk.

All your answers are sarcastic.
Please just shut up and listen.
