As the proud eagle flies majestically
waiting for all Americans to see
That we are strong, proud, and united as one
Knowing the difference between right and wrong
Every one of us has known trouble and pain
Some times our days end with not sunshine but rain
While the eagle dips near the tree filled forest
He wants us to think of what God has done for us
We all need to help others in their times of sorrow
And remind them of the chances of tomorrow
I can make a difference and so can you
If God and our friends are at our side then it will be very easy to do
As the eagle soars before the setting sun
He knows that his race has been won.
