beautiful dawn

beautiful dawn....

gruelling ,getting up from bed
a nimbus floating in my head,

'bout to burst ,upon my soul,
pouring pain ,feelings stoke,

hefty eyes from an arduous dark,
nihilist with nicotine,

the effulgence of a beautiful dawn,
fails to pass the screens,

walkin 'neath a lark infested sky,
another dream in my head die,

i look at the cynical mirror,
analyzing and scrutinizing detail,

nostalgias of a lovelorn life,
churnin maelstorm in my mind,

i know life is water melon sweet, but the lil' black seeds are killin me.

got struck by a black saccharine bolt,
confounded by her reassuring jolts,

decades now hiding extant,
vile obsessions in there caves,

accoutered sun shine gallant,
lead 'em to their shallow graves,

somewhere deep down violet remains,
but now mornin lance with deeper rays,

tommorow promises another dawn,
i 'll be there ,waiting for.....
