Piano Love (part 2)

Vicki hung up and took a deep breath and opened the door to the sounds of her parents calling everyone to see if they have seen Sarah. Of course no one had. Her parents were so busy they didn’t notice Vicki slip out the door to meet her friends at the park. She had asked them to help with the plan before. Her best friend, Kerri, called her over when they saw her coming.
“Hey Vicki, Did the plan work?” “Yes, she is on her way to Elizabeth right now.” Vicki answered, thankfulness sewed in to her answer. “What has been happening lately to you?” Vicki asked a few minutes later. “I saw Dillan today” the excitement growing in her voice. She loved taking about her boyfriend. “His brother is going to the camp.” “Who is he going with?” Vicki enquiringly. “He said he is going with a girl named Tiana.” “Oh my gosh, She is taking my sister!!” “How old is your sister again?” Kerri asked laughing.
“14.” “Same age as Dillan’s brother.” Kerri answered noticing the question in Vicki’s eyes. “Oh, what does he play?” asked Vicki. Kerry answered, “I think he plays the guitar.”
Vicki began to hope her sister had a good time at the camp.

Sarah was already in the car, with Tiana and Dillan McNally’s brother, Jordan. It turned out that Jordan was the same age as she was. She kind of liked that because he wasn’t that bad looking either. He played the guitar and he played it really well. Sarah had her keyboard in the back seat with her and she pulled it out and started playing it, by using the battery. She started playing her favourite piece and she soon realized that Jordan was playing with her on his guitar. She quickly started to test him and went a bit faster, he looked at her, grinned and went a bit faster as well, she suddenly dropped the tempo to a slow beat and he followed along with her. She started doing a completely different song but he just picked up on bits that he thought sounded good. She thought, Boy, he’s good. She stopped playing and Tiana turned the radio on and started singing and Sarah realized that Tiana was coming to the camp as well; Sarah hadn’t realized that she had a good voice. She noticed that Jordan was staring at her, and quickly turned, smiled at him and went to work writing a new song she had started to write before she had left her house. “Hey Sarah, How did you get your parents to let you come? It’s like a miracle!” Tiana exclaimed. “Well, I kind of didn’t.” Sarah answered uncertainly. “What do you mean?” Tiana questioned.
“Well, I sneaked out and my sister Vicki and her friend Kerri helped me.”
Jordan spoke up for the first time. “Is that Kerri Raelene?” “Yes do you know her?” Sarah answered. “Yea, she is friends with my brother.” Jordan answered.
“Oh”

Vicki slowly climbed through the window to her bedroom. Luckily her bedroom was on the first floor. Sarah’s bedroom was on the second floor but was easy to get in to from the ground. She could hear her parents still worrying over Sarah in the room down in the lounge room. Would you just get over it. She thought I mean come on she isn’t dead. She got in to her bedroom and opened her door and went into the lounge room and just stood there hoping that one of them would stop their conversation and look at her. They didn’t. She surprised herself by getting quite angry. She went back up the stairs and logged onto her computer. Kerri was on.

Hotkerri23: Hey! How r u?

Lowevicki270: ello, im gd how r u?

Hotkerri23: I’m ok. Dillan just called and said that his brother said that he had met an awesome gurl in the car with Tiana.

Lowevicki270: That wouldn’t be my sister would it?

Hotkerri23: I think it might be

Vicki laughed out loud, something she hadn’t done in a while. She couldn’t help it. Sarah was like the nerd of the family, she got A’s in almost everything. She couldn’t picture Sarah with anyone.

Tiana was asleep in the backseat, with Jordan driving. Sarah was in the passenger seat. Jordan’s phone went off as soon as we had started. He apologized, pulled the car over and answered it outside. Sarah couldn’t help but overhear.
“Hello?”
“Oh hi, Big bro. How are you?”
There was a pause
“I’m good, you won’t believe it, but I have met the coolest chick ever!”
“Her name is Sarah Lowe”
Another pause
“How do you know her?” he laughed
“Ok seeya later then”

Sarah looked out the window, as he got back in the car.
“Hey, I didn’t know you knew Kerri Raelene.” He said.
“You asked me that, before we started out.”
“Oh right, I did.” He looked at her, and smiled.
Help thoughts! He is smiling at me! What do I do??? I’ll just ignore him. That’s a good plan.
He looked away, and she wished he was still looking at her. She didn’t know why

Vicky got up the next morning, and found a text message on her phone from Kerri. It said:

Hey Vic, I was wondering if
ya could cum 2 da docs with me?
Luv Kerri.

Vicki wondered what was wrong, and sent text back saying that she would be glad to.
She got dressed and went down to breakfast.
Her parents were still upstairs, probably asleep from all that talking last night. She grabbed a piece of toast and drove to Kerri’s house.
