what defines beauty?

BEAUTY.
What defines a word with so much power?
A word that controls uncountable numbers to try and fall under its category.
So many try to become the "beautiful" images in the magazines, but can beauty really be something that is fake, air brushed or edited?
Can someone who openly names them self as beautiful, truly be?
Is beauty really that unfair as to be bestowed upon only a precious few?
Or is beauty something you cannot see, smell, taste or touch,
but simply an essence?
Is beauty actually limited to how one person perceives it?
Or can it come from so many different places all at the same time that beautiful might be something unnamable?
Maybe real beauty is happening all around us we just haven't opened our eyes to discover what makes it real.
So we come up with these false theories from what people get us to believe beauty is:
A perfect figure, confidence, flawless art, a day where everything goes as planned.
but possibly in the back of everyone’s mind, after witnessing a time that made us smile or laugh for no apparent reason, a day you unexpectedly changed someone’s life by being nothing but yourself, or those moments where you think that they are too crazy or amazing for words,
just maybe those moments thought as indescribable can really be defined..
as true and honest beauty.
