This poem is for Belle, our OTTB that died at the great ole' age of 31 this past September.

You had so much to share with us
You had so much to teach
And even though you spoke no words
Our hearts your soul did reach

Your gift was your unending patience
Your will to live unbreached
There was no day I did not learn
And I cherish each

And even though you've gone from us
Across that famed old Bridge
Your legacy lives on down here
Our lives remain so rich

For in your daughter I see you
A face I love and know
And even though your body left
Your heart will never go
