On the outside
My hands are shaking
on the inside
my heart is breaking
longing for that love
which i once knew
craving that same love
which connected me to you
I still remember
how it would feel
as you reached out to hold me
nothing has ever been so real
  something happend
'cause all of that went away
it was taken from me by you
you hurt me, so i couldn't stay
constantly though, i wish i would've
but in my heart
i know i did what i should've
it hurts more and more each day
to know that love i once felt
has gone away
but i know it will come back
once we stop this act
you're not perfect
neither am i
all i ask is that you don't make me cry
