A poem about my not-so-nice-dreams

I’m tired and sick of dreaming
Hard emotions overflowing
Tension rises with closed eyes
It seems true but all lies
I can remember a third of it
But what a shame, just a third of it?
When you are in, there’s no way out
But in reality, it’s nothing to care about
Dreams, oh sweet dreams,
You pollute my mind it seems
You envelope my day,
Thinking if you’re possible or nay;
My dream I think you are my friend
God’s gift to me until the end
You’re beside me every night
Muffling the darkness so I sleep tight
But sometimes I think you’re mad at me
You just would not let me be
My same dear friend I could not bear
When Dream turns to a nightmare
Deep inside, I couldn’t believe
When I woke up, a sigh, I was relieved
