This assignment was to take an everyday event thats seems small and to escalate it.
Opening my eyes i glance around
Morning light brightly beaming onto the wall
Bits of dust floating in the air glisten in the light
My stomach burros deeper inside of me
I let my eyes focus on the clock

It strikes 7:37;
Throwing my blankets from my body
Cold morning air rushes up my chest
Lunging across the room and into the shower
Quickly wakened by a ice cold feeling shooting down my spine

Leaping out of the shower, quickly drying off
Brushing my teeth,combing my hair-quicker than ever
Sprinting to my room i snatch my clothes
Hopping through my jeans like my life depended on it
I make my way to the living room

Fumbling for my shoes I scream,”Mom, why didn't you wake me up?”
Silence fills my ears
I rip my coat from the hanger, I squall once again, “Mom, why didn't you wake me up?”
Silence fills my ears
Grabbing my bag and cracking the door; my ride already here

One foot outside the door “Ring Ring Ring”
Answering the phone “Hello”
My Mother replied “Oh! Just making sure you were up!”
In a nice, agitated tone i say “Yeah, but i gotta go”
“Alright, have a nice day!” My Mother implies
