The Bee

The BEE

Yesterday I saw a BEE!
It looked at me and I at he.
He buzzed around from flower to flower.
Before long I realized I had watched for an hour.

He payed no attention to little ole me.
For there was no threat that he could see.
I was of no importance he clearly thought.
The thought of this made me boiling hot.

Doesn't he know that I am a human.
Away from me now he ought to be zoomin!
With haughty steps I yelled "BEWARE!"
I swung and I swung but I struck only air.

He zigged and he zagged, and he kept me guessing.
And then he decided to teach me a lesson.
He zoomed right in and stung my knee.
Thus! Teaching me.... HUMILITY
