Read and find out!!
Tears in the Rain
A new day dawns,
A new face appears,
The seeds of time grow,
Into trees of the past.
The strays lay unobserved,
As my eyes search the new face,
The halo around it,
Makes her very apparent to me,
The very utterance of her,
Drives chills down my spine,
I looked at the velvet sky,
And asked the havens,
'Why do I feel so miserable,
and yet so satisfied? Have
I wanted to be this way? Am
I meant to be this way?'
Her eyes met mine
With stabbing emotion.
Her words seem as
soft music to a wailing ear.
I hide my hands,
Because they shake at her sight.
My appreciation for the meadows
have been neutralized.
Flowers no matter how scented
feel odorless.
Time, then passing, now lies frozen.
My eyes see the same face reappear again and again
Is this a near death experience?
I believe so,
Because they say, when one dies,
Ones life flashes before them eyes.
And I believe that face is my life.
The leaves of trees rustle by,
as if speaking to me.
And then I see that face
And her hands touch me,
And keep me from falling
Into the deep pit of disparity,
A dew drop forms in one of the many leaves,
that rustle by,
The nymphs of sea do not affect me,
For the sad eyes I have
sometimes hid the truth.
Withdrawn am I from all humanity,
The clouds silently weep their tears,
that face is the only bridge I have,
between sanity and insanity.
The raindrops are received as presents by me,
For they hide the tears I silently weep.
I feel a familiar hand on my weak shoulder,
That once felt stronger than Atlas himself,
I look up and see that face,
I smile, for I know,
The rain hides her tears too.
