My Ship

My ship has sunk
its plain to see
my crew have all abandon me

Promises that broke with the wave
to be friends every day
Never to leave eachother, no how, no way

Its understandable
When perils in sight
even true friends take flight

When smooth sailing however
we should stay friends forever

It seems as though
Thru salty brine
Their map shows differently than mine

Promises made when weather is rough
mean nothing now the goings not tough

Here I am, floating alone, in the see
no one to care and rescue me
I love you, even if you've forgotten me.
