This is about the general wonderment of life
Where did it all begin?
One might begin to wonder this on a particularly long and dull day. We all wonder sometimes how we got to where we are and how if we had done a few things differently in our past would our lives be different now? This feeling usually comes to people when they are either really happy with what they have got or when they are wishing they had more. Sometimes it is difficult to know if the grass would be greener on the other side, but we spend many lazy days gazing up in to the air and assessing our lives. Would it have made a difference if I had had toast for breakfast instead of cereal, would it matter if I had watched a different programme this morning?
We all wonder if there is a higher being than us, someone who watches over the world, our creator, our saviour. Many believe this is nonsense and that humans and animals are all that are, and once you have died that’s it. But what if there is an afterlife like so many programmes show us? What if our souls can get lost can have to roam the earth for eternity? What if…..
What if? Now there is a question which we all think, and I am guessing several times a day, but all that really matter is what we have got for ourselves not what other people have. It doesn’t matter if someone else has a better car or house or pair of trainers than you, as long as we have our own self belief and self wonder that we can do anything we want and achieve anything we want. Many times this just comes down to the question of ‘Where did it all begin?’ where did we start our lives and where will we end up. Well as long as we can look back and say what we did and what we had was our own decision and we were happy then we never have to wonder… What if?
