unsaid words are uncried tears

The ceremony begins as rain falls onto the windows.

People bow their heads in sorrow.

The person who meant most steps forth and peers into the eternal bed where she now lays.

Peaceful. Silent.

He touches her cheek, stroking it gently.

Tears fall on her face, and for a moment, he misses her.

To a surprise a new face is by his side.

She finds his hand and asks how he is.

He responds with an okay.

They kiss.

The lonely life, now abandoned, with nothing left.

She swore to him, that without his love to catch her, she would fall to her death.

And that's exactly what she did.



Moments after they found her mangled body, still warm.

A note grasped in her hand:

"perfection"
