A love poem, by a hopeful romantic
Written January 15, 2007

I love you, I don't ask why
Could you love me
Dare I try
Illusions of my mind

A mere glimps of your face
Thoughts of you, my pulse quickens
From myself, I cannot hide my disgrace
Illusions of my heart

Imaginations so wild and vivid
I would blush and hold my breath
To speak of them, I am too timid
Illusions of my desire

By your side, I long to be
In your arms, I wish to stay
In your heart, I want to live
Illusions of my soul
