Wow, some of these are funny in hindsight
Man I was pissed!....... (1995)

I spit venom
at your false smile
Eyes that once saw light in you
NARROW
with your presence.
Breath slows and steadies,
Trying to forget,
that you drown me in a cold sea of indifference.

I LET YOU KNOW ME.

I spit poison into your eyes
attempting to make you feel
this sting
Agonizing to make you greet
the steel balck bars
in which you caged my heart.

GRAB THEM, BASTARD!!!!
Bang your head until you feel the blood of you soul
Running down your throat!
Filling your lungs!
Brimming in your eyes!
SUFFER!!!
As I have
When you laughed at me,
and turned your back,
and didn't care to care.

I spit the dead flowers of my dreams
into your path...
and watch
in numbed horror
as you crush them benieth your feet.

The last petals of remembrance
ground
into ashes of a tatered
Symphony's War
which disappear on a frigid, humid wind.

A journal entry 1995....

" You wrapped your arms around my shoulders in my parent's yellow kitchen- warmth vibrated through my skull. Yau waited for me, smiling, you liked my hippie dress. We laughed at people in cars, and people in bars. You read me poetry of distant lands. I believed it was we to sail beyond the sunset of all the western stars....
You rub my temples,
You tickled me to watch me laugh, and whispered when I was tired... I played with your hair to watch it fall around your beautiful face. I am quiet. I want to kiss you.
And the world comes between us.
And I spit on the world.
And you thought I spit at you.
And you shower me in piss."

On a new love... (1996)

Peaceful eyes. Still.
We can almost hear the stars
Whisper.
I watch you step into my bedroom
Moonlight carresses your naked body,
as I have done so many times
In my dreams.

I've watched you often
in quiet contemplation
with curious fear
and dancing mischef
....it slips away now, the doubt...

Poetry tonight
with the merge of flesh,
and breath,
and glowing light.

You- the ruby in red wine
I consumed,
I, the diamond in your White.

I think I saw you tonight.
I think we knew.
When our eyes met.
And held.

Hold on.
In haste we will pass tomorrow.
Let this moment linger.

(1996) Capone's Monday Night Mystery

You search
my face
my eyes
my hair
Unspoken words
Thick.

I do not know
what you see
who you see
For what do you search
in me?

Heaviness is something
that never defined us
but between
the laughter...
the glances...
Thick
Unspoken Words.
