Physical looks can be a curse when no one bothers to see the person for who they are.
Propelled by a curse
Changed for the better
Get attentive for immersed
21 years of whirling weather

Standing in the midst of carniverous elders
Her cheeks, which reach skyward, are quartered
In terrifying closeness and threats to flesh feast upon her
With resentful slit eyes, gazes to whom she is daughtered

Angered at blood's inevitability
Her southern corners scowl at the towering frights
Incapable of showing humility
She retalitates with a vicious bite

Like a tree, time show fruits of her labor
No longer prey for cannibalistic fools
But a magnet for curious raiders
Spys with lustful eyes who drool

She walks among those who hunt
Her almond eyes aware of the injustice
A chamelon attacks with vigorous grunts
Like a lioness, she renders him gutless

Yet the battle is not won
For another's radar scans for poutty lips
Before an attempt can be formed, he's done
With infinite ammo, she is equipped

She is, however, cursed to fight a war
Constantly defending her peace
Everyday she questions more and more
"Why can't they see me?"
