'A First Kiss'

Do you see me standing here?
Do you see me standing there?
Do you see me getting closer?
Even whilst feeling all this fear.

I am so scared about what to say,
Scared about what I might hear,
I am so scared that I can barely believe
That I am standing here.

We both know what's going to happen,
We can both feel it in the air,
Neither one of us can stop it,
I can even feel the chill in my hair.

Everything around us goes hazy,
I can only see you and me,
My palms are getting sweaty,
We both know whats about to be.....

We move closer together,
I can feel your breathe on me,
I'm now so scared I'm shaking
As you put your arms around me.

My eyes are slowly closing,
And I'm losing control,
We move slowly and start to kiss,
I can feel the shivering of my soul.

I've waited so long to feel this,
So long to feel your lips on mine,
I can't believe it has finally happened
It's as though you are finally mine.

This was a story of my first kiss,
I never knew it would feel like this,
So soft and gentle,
I felt so loved,
I can't wait to experience my next kiss....
