Rejection

People pushing me away
Not wanting me to stay
Leaving me all alone
Inside an empty home
They don't know the first thing about me
They don't know my name, they always refer to me as she
We never talk, we always fight
As I sit in the cold room with very little light
I'm only 13  taking care of myself
But there's no one else
Looking at the same 4 walls everyday
While people are wishing that I just go away
No one to turn to
No windows to look through
Do you know how it feels to be left alone
Or how it is when no one is ever home
I barely see my family
But without me, they're living happily
Not noticing when I'm gone
Nor if the electricity is on
Barely anything to eat
In this blistering heat
Do you know of anyone who knows about this,
Besides me
