As I lie here listening,
I hear the wind howling.
It sounds like a little girl,
screaming for help.
I want to help her,
but I know I can do nothing.
The screams are getting louder and louder,
she needes my help, I know it.
The intensity of her scream is incredible,
it makes me want to rip my ears off of my head.
The screeching is horrible,
her voice must be getting sore.
I really want to help her,
but I remember, there is nothing I can do.
It's just the wind.
So I roll over,
and try to put it out of my mind.
But even still, her voice haunts me,
screeching and screaming for help.
