Prologue

I think facing reality is one of the hardest things for me to do today. It was just better for me to walk around with my head in the clouds and pretend every thing was alright. Then I met Tyrese Luvar, one of the sexiest guys I ever met. Six foot ten skin as smooth as dark chocolate, had one those Coalgate smiles you see on the boxes of toothpaste and the cut of his body was like someone sat and carved him right of marble. He was one I could have always depend on, was always there anytime I call and needed him, he was there.

He was what you called irreplaceable, the helpful hand in my life that was before I took a trip over to Santa Cruz for my birthday. Everything was going so great up until the time I walk in to my house and found everything every where. My mom’s favorite vase that she had given to me just before she died was completely shattered I could believe it, Tyrese was supposed to watch the house for me while I was gone, I was so pissed off. Then I got into the next room there is where I found blood splattered all over my newly painted white walls and all over my white Persian rug. By this time I was total losing it wondering if Tyrese was hurt or even dead, a cold unyielding feeling rushed through me.

When I finally went into my bedroom this where I found him there standing over a body one I realized belong to Karri, one of the girls who used to hang around the neighborhood’s gang “Blood Cold Niggers”. Panting he turned around and saw me. And he actually had the nerves to stand there talking telling me bullshit saying  it’s not what it look like, then suddenly flip a switch and starts saying that he had to take care of the problem he can’t have no one fucking round with his money or his property.  I turned to walk out he grabbed me and throw me against the wall telling me that I could never tell anyone and if I did he’ll kill me just like her. After that he left, and had people come in and clean and took care of Karri’s body, as soon as everyone left I packed everything and left.
