It's Today So Remember

IT'S TODAY SO REMEMBER---

                             It's---
                                       Good when someone leaves their mark,
                                       Great we all possess some spark
                                       Of talents beaming bright and new---
                             Today---
                                       When troubles glare through the dark,
                                       And we wantonly wish to disembark,
                                       For rewards at times seem scattered and few.
                             So---
                                       If you think the race is run,
                                       That battles now have all been won,
                                       And future dreams might well escape you---
                             Remember---
                                       For some the world has just begun,
                                       And nothing that is said and done,
                                       Counts so much as what you've yet to do.
