my second poem |
When the wind blows through the trees Like a lightning spread fire An unforgettably fury Lights up the night A sea of monsters Come out of left field Spreading through the country side Like that menacing fire Because when that wind blows through the trees Like that lightning spread fire People lose there lives And all from a fire A raging, crazed, hot one Taking a moment to stop and think About all the things that one loses Is simply tragic And only made worse by that fire At a time in everyone’s life Comes that menacing fire Blowing down houses and friends alike Throwing love out the window Throwing friendship in the bin And then that menacing fire, swells up some more Swallowing the good and all they stand for Taking its fury out on the innocent And using the guilty as gas Something hard hits the bystander The bystander is you It hits you like a jet And blasts a message straight home Finally you realize That you are the fire And with that you’re destroying yourself As well as everyone else So unless you want to destroy all you love And everyone that loves you I would calm your-self down It’s for your own good Before the fire men do If you don’t control your temper No love will be left So do control it And you can work up from there |
