A Poet Be

I will someday,
  a poet be.
I'll write of stars,
  I'll write of trees.
Despair I'll write,
  a love can bring.
I'll write of birds,
  and bees that sting.
This little rhyme,
  you'll say how quaint,
although it makes you
  want to faint.
Who are you friend,
  to question me.
I will someday,
  a poet be!
