When I was low....
‘There is no ‘god’ in this world’
Thought the weeping little girl
Trusting no one but herself
For there is nobody else

Nobody else to feel her pain
Nobody to see her tears rain
Down her checks, so pale
While watching dark clouds sail

Across the midnight sky
Forbidding herself to cry
The rusty razor blade against her skin
Slowly digging in

Small red dots arising in its wake
How much more must she take
Peace entered her as never before
As her lifeless body hit the floor
