Coud that have only been a dream?
I sit here reading a book
A little rain was all it took
The lights went out
I resist the urge to shout
I keep reading along
Not noticing the time gone
The room suddenly changed
For a moment i felt deranged
I was in a garden with flowers everywhere
But all I could do is stare
I look and walk around
To see what else will be found
I panic and soon begin to run
Surely this was far from fun
I find a house and run inside
I wait a moment for the confusion to subside
Soon i stumble into a room
With so many it was surely my doom
Soon after i start to progress
I realize that I'm in a dress
Old, Victorian it was
At the touch was like fuzz
I begin to worry
Again, I run in a hurry
I stop until I find a mirror
I see that I'm far from inferior
I look at the face
And see that I'm out of place
I run to escape this time
It must be purgatory for a crime
Quickly, I run outside
It all came, like a harsh tide
With my last step I begin to fall
No one hears my frightened call
Suddenly I'm awake
From a horrible shake
Chills run down my spine
As I heard the clock chime nine
Confused and still dazed
For a moment i felt crazed
I begin to see this was a dream
It was all to odd for what it seemed
So with absolute finality
I am back in reality
