a boy nmed martin lives a very hard life.
The laptop

Chapter 1
Martin is a very smart, unpopular boy. He lives in a small town in
Montana
called Kanesville. Kanesville had one elementary school, two middle
schools,
and one high school. Martin was in elementary school, fifth grade to be
exact.

He was too smart that no one liked him. He used to have one friend
named Joshua, who was also smart. They would go to museums together,
Omsi,
watch the scientific news together, and do experiments together. They
were
the best of friends.

Then one day, Joshua walked over to Martin and said, “Brad, the
most
popular guy in school just invited me to his party tonight!” “That’s
great”
Martin said, but ever since then Joshua hung out less and less with
Martin.
He became the most popular boy in school. He was also the rudest. He
picked
on the younger kids, even martin sometimes. He was Martins worst enemy
now.
Every time he had free time he would take out a piece of paper and a
red pen
and pretended that he was making a plan to kill Joshua. None of his
plans
worked though, which was a bummer. He hated Joshua that much.

He didn’t have any friends anymore. He usually stayed in his room
doing experiments and trying to think of some way to make friends. He
tried
wearing some clothes that he saw populars wearing. He thought he might
have
a chance if he looked like a popular. He wore his new outfit to school
the
next day, as confident as any one could be. He walked into the school
and
saw the popular crowd. He casually walked past then, said what’s up
people?
And the next thing he knew, he was being tossed into the garbage can by
Joshua. “Plan failed once again” he thought, and sighed. Somehow he’ll
figure out how to be popular. Somehow. Once he got home he slipped
passed
his parents and went into his room, and sat on his bed. He just sat
there
thinking. “How could this happen? He thought silently. “I had the
clothes,
the walk, the talk, and even the looks. How could this happen?”
A few hours later he got called to dinner by his parents. He
forgot to
change into clean clothes so he was covered in garbage when he got to
the
table. “What happened martin?” his mother asked. “I don’t really want
to
talk about it mom.” He said. “I had a bad day. Anyway, what’s for
dinner?
Smells good.” corn beef and cooked carrots.” “Mmm, my favorite.” Dad
said.
During dinner, Martin barely said a word. He only ate half of his
corn
beef and only five carrots. His parents were worried, Martin could
tell. The
silence was killing his ears so he decided to bring up a subject.
“Today we got our science test back. He said.
“That’s great honey.” His mom said.
“Yeah what was your score?” dad asked.
“100 %.” He said. “Dinner was great, mom. I have to go and do my
homework now.”

“O.K. Martin. Lights out at 7:00.”
Martin barely even listened as he sulked of to his room. He got some
clothes
then went to the bathroom to take a shower. He smelled like a garbage
truck
in a sewer. “I don’t know if my day could get any worse than it is
already.”
He thought. As he got into the shower, he bumped the knob and turned
the
water on to as hot as it can go. “Youch! That hurts!” he screamed.
“Martin, is everything alright honey?”
“Yeah mom, just turned the shower on too hot.” He said. “O.K.” she said.
“Half an hour left till lights out.”
“I know mom. Good night!” he got out of the shower and got into his pajamas. As he crawled into bed, he wondered what would go wrong the next day.
"Martin, honey get up! Your father and I have something to tell you!" As Martin climbed out of bed and into his clothes, he wondered what his parents had to tell him. "Honey please sit down." his mom said. "Mom, I'm already sitting. "Martin, I know that this may be hard for you, I mean we don't want to either. Oh honey we really tried to keep this from happening," said his mom. "what your mother is trying to say is that we are moving."
