The sequel to "THE PRINCESS BRIDE"
THE DREAD PIRATE ROBERTS’ SHIP – NIGHT

INIGO is standing, watching a young boy and girl forcefully slaving away on his ship.

BARCUS
You two, quit looking at each other and get back to work!

CUT TO:
Young boy and girl run to each other trying to escape being watched by the shipmate.
Seeing this, the shipmate calls out and runs after them.

INIGO
Don’t move, Barcus. Let them be.

BARCUS
But captain, they aren’t following orders, we have to give them their consequences.

INIGO
No, leave them alone, they are in love. Save them…

DISSOLVE TO:
Outside the Florin City Walls, in the same cabin where she met Westley. Buttercup is reading a book, with children running all around her. Just by the look of the scene you can tell that the kids are hers and Westley’s.

BUTTERCUP
Now, now children calm down!

WESTLEY
Buttercup, come look at this.

Buttercup runs to the window and looks out to the ocean. There is a black fog around what seems to be an old ship.

WESTLEY
Well, look at that, our good ‘ole friend Inigo has come to see us.

BUTTERCUP
Okay, well let’s get everything nice and ready for them! Reese’s Buttercup Mars, go pick up your room.

CUT QUICKLY TO:
The shore, Inigo in the lead, leading five old, rough looking men. Following behind Barcus is two figures bound in old ship sacks and tied in chains.

Once up to the farm house, Inigo knocks on the door. Westley and Buttercup answer the door.

WESTLEY
So good to see you good friend. How’s life Mr. Dread Pirate Roberts? (With a sense of sarcasm in his tone.)

INIGO
Ha ha ha, great! I see life has blessed you too! (Noticing the kids running frantically in the house.) But the reason for my visit is one thing and one thing only. Bring them here, Barcus.

BARCUS
But sir, now?

WESTLEY
What’s going on? Is everything okay?

INIGO
I want you to do me a favor.

Barcus thrusts the young boy and girl bound up in the front of Westley.

WESTLEY
What’s this?

INIGO
I want you to kill them!
True love will never prevail.

WESTLEY
Inigo what happened to you?

INIGO
My name in Roberts now…
