This is some of my earlier work, it should have music to it, but... |
Up on the horizon, the sun’s getting red, The boy across the street just put a bullet in his head. He’s feelin’ blue, things were shaded too gray, You can’t see tomorrow if you don’t make it past today. Don’t be scared but you’re going pale, Pretty soon your soul will be up for sale. I turn my eyes towards heaven, Watching as the clouds go by, I wonder where I could be going, As I fall through a fiery sky. Thunder, lightning, It’s such a drop, and it’s so damn frightening, But it’s alright, it’s ok, stand clear, This is probably my final frontier. It’s so bleak and depressing, it’s so dark, I think I hear the hell dog beginning to bark. Now I’m falling forever, into an unknown place, Or maybe I’m just falling right through empty space. Hey now, I’m finally closing in on some land, Where do I land, I just don’t understand? I’ve turned my eyes to heaven, Watched as I fell down to hell, I wonder; when’s my salvation, As I give God my final farewell. Thunder, lightning, Beelzebub is so damn frightening, And I can’t run, I can’t hide; no way; Looks like I’m here for all eternity. “You can be quite now boy and let me take my stage, I bet you’re bout as angry as a rabid dog caged, And I’ll tell you something else, it may strike you as odd, Down here I have much more power than God, You could’ve lived long and prospered, but now instead, You’re walking ‘round in hell amongst the living dead.” |
