the pain of love gone wrong!
The dragon exhaled
a mighty breath
of acrid lies,
hoping to camouflage his
tiny stature
with the smokescreen
of limp fire.
The princess only sustained
a tiny amount of
singeing from this
pitiful outburst.
He stamped his feet
on already broken earth
trying to give the
impression
of his strength
shattering the ground.
She merely turned
her head
looking towards
heavens inviting arms
of comfort.
Only after he stormed away
in disgust to concoct
another diversionary tactic
with which to try and sway
her stand,
then
did she shed a tear
or two for the loss
of what used to be.
