This is one of my recent attempts at poetry, so bear with me.
We dreamt a dream,
and we romanticized,
over the bravery of a
man to call
our Hero.

We dreamt a Dream,
A Dream,
so real, so needed,
Him
We dreamt this dream,
He became real.

None of us have ever actually been there,
not like you.

What will we do , other than tremble incessantly?
I only pray that we can do without,
you going home.

But can we ever raise to the height of our halo?

Or will it slip down around our necks,
to choke us?

Who can deny that your the one we dreamed of?
Who can deny we needed you?
Who can deny we will throw you away?
Who can deny your fate,
but Fate itself?

Not to pull your halo down,
Its time now,
its your time now,
time to go home.

Go home.
Make your amends to the Dead.
