Just a poem....ok?
If I could just show you how it would be,
If Mars left Venus for Mercury,
You would see the stars no longer shine,
Their incandescence no longer divine.
The Sun would begin to gradually cool,
Until it was nothing but a dense pool.
The day light would slowly begin to fade,
Leaving Venus cold, lonely and afraid.
If I could just show you how it would be,
If the flower dismissed the bumblebee,
It would roam so lonely in trepidation,
Lost in its own world, no more temptation.
The flower then turns its petals away,
Looking for new ways to brighten the day.
The bee is now left on its own to fly
To a new place where it can crawl and die.
If I could just show you how it would be,
If the rainbow’s colours fell into the sea,
You would witness a grey dismal illusion
After a storm, all lost in confusion.
No red or yellow, or orange or green,
Just a dull ache where colours should have been.
So don’t turn away your hearts desire,
Look for new ways to re-light the fire.
