Someone to turn to...

My nights are longer than my days
My life has changed in so many ways
Darkness has filled my life no longer can I see
I feel lost in this huge world, I feel like there's no one but me

I feel so lost like a little hamster in an endless maze
When will I get through with all this, when will I be done with this phase
This phase of my life that leaves me lonely and sad
Broken-hearted, terrified, confused, I feel so bad

Every person at one point of their life feels like this
A phase that everyone is put through, that's just how life is
When you feel like no one around you understands what you're going through
Like no matter how much you try, there's nothing you can do

But if you look hard enough you'll find someone there
Giving you the strength to pull through, someone who you know will always care
And never turn their back at you, though there maybe times when you feel they do
All you need is some faith, prayer and God will always be there to comfort you

When it seems no one is there to lend a listening ear
When you feel your heart is weak and overcome with fear
And feel a need for comfort; He's someone who's always near
Always there beside you every day, every night, all through the year

Though we can't see Him, we know He's there
Giving us strength, helping us bear
Just believe that He's there and you'll never feel alone
Always a word away, you don't even need a phone!!
