This is in loving memory of a fellow classmate that was killed in car accident
Up in the heavens and high above,
Smiling down on us with so much kindness and love.
Twinkling in the sky like a star for all of us to view,
We can help but think about the day we tragically lost you.
We hold on to just memories of you,
A friend that was faithful and true.
We cry rivers of tears just to ease our pain,
Because we have now realized things are not the same.
Your boyish smile we can only imagine in our mind,
For, we know we will never forget you in time.
Your voice we can plainly hear in our head,
We can only wish you were not there but only here with us instead.
Reliving those same tragic memories of that year,
When we had lost you, our classmate, that was so gentle and dear.
As we looked upon your face as you gently slept,
We just stood there and just wept.
Even though you are gone away from us,
We still remember you with only the greatest of love.
You have now became one of Heaven's proud angels,
And that is something really special.
When we walk down that aisle during graduation,
Our thoughts will only be of you with the proudest of devotion.
And we will hold our diplomas high up to the sky,
We will dedicate it all to you-a true friend that has died.
