Musing over leaving the ones that I knew behind on a journey to better understand myself
I feel
shattered
shrunken
sullen
cluttered
Why the hurry
Why do I hurry
I thought
I wanted to be here
Stay here
It’s decaying
Where I stand
Got to run
Run on to the next
Decomposing destination
Couldn’t I just stay one more day?
One more day
To feel
Less
Uprooted
Let me stay
One more day
With the solid support
That is you
