Gazing Into

Her eyes
Windows to the soul
Showing sins of the past
Holding emotions, desires, fears
Her whole world in two pools of green

Her eyes
A pair of emeralds shining in the night sky
Each enveloping a blazing sun
Their glow lighting my way
Preventing me from faltering

Her eyes
As sharp as any diamonds
Cutting through the walls I build around myself
Leaving me as helpless as a newborn
Shivering in the cold

Her eyes
Gazing into them is unavoidable
Escaping them impossible
I do not even try
My world is there too.
