In my den I lay,
Bothered by the way people brawl…
Wondering whether whatever happened,
Was my fault or not?

This confusion,
Confusing me for ever more…
Thought it was my task to keep sanity intact;
When it never was!

Nothing seems to be fair;
Everything just drags me in deep…
Deep enough to lose my mind and morality;
Am I crazy? – I hope not!

Grabbing my sanity,
Distorting it into unfortunate lunacy…
Savior spirit lost amidst destructive obsessions;
What should be done?

I no longer know,
Why in bother do I burn?
When joy reigns in the exteriors of my dull den;
Should I step out?

Tempting...

Yet moving on is tragic,
As reality rules existence;
It isn’t viable to expunge lives that are complex,
Is it??
