Losing ones place to another.
Untitled

Tear drop in rain,
Cigarette butt in a drain,
The stage was mine but
Now my part is cut
And all I had is lost.

I was always the one
Now my sole role is gone
And the lights shine only for you.

I'm at the edge of a long fall
Grab my hand before I'm lost?
My plaintive call,
A despairing riposte,
I'm gone now: I fall.

Moon in the night sky,
God in the Heavens above,
This stage is yours now,
None will stop to cry,
Or think of me devoid of
All I still had to sow.

I was always the one
Now my simple role is gone
And the light shines solely on you.
