"...hate rings from ones close but you kept babbling on"
To sit and smile while it rings through your ears,
A desire to stand up and shriek
“bullshit I tell you pure rotten bullshit!”
A smile plastered onto your face.
Keep it together you’ve got nothing left,
Your opinions have no power here-
Never have, never will.
Hate rings from those once close and you just kept babbling on,
Now one more slip and the bottom you hit,
You hobbies-obsessions sound waves for the world
Rounding China by now, you couldn’t keep quiet
Your place is to observe,
You know that now.
Maybe someday when the schooling is through
You’ll blossom into what you always known you have been
But for now the only assets to your name
Are the facts that you’re a good listener in class-
And everyone else knows that they’re better than that.
