Education for the Educators

It interesting to know about what we learn is less important than from whom we learn. I chose this topic as a thought on the quality of teachers that exist in today’s world. Today we are asked to learn rapidly and about more and more things to which we may or may not be accustomed to. We require and huge amount of energy from our self in order to accept what we are learning.
So it is important for us to know who is teaching us and what are their abilities and qualification. A teacher should not only have information on the said subject but must also be able to clarify any doubts that may arise from it. He/ She must be interested in learning new things and with the same vigor and energy which would translate to the students.
So what are the institutes and universities that employ these teaches do in order to develop quality teaching methodologies?. They must provide plat from for the teachers to interact with each other and their peers across other regions on a regular basis, open debate, writing reading etc. It is important that you give them some space for themselves as this helps them in improving their thoughts and actions, which in turn are directed towards the students.
I therefore thing that we need to focus on the educators than the education.
