How a girl loses her dream and how through her undying hope she dares to dream again...
Her dream was shattered into a thousand pieces or more,
And 'twas not easy to sweep them off the floor.
Each rock;shone,shimmered and stalked,
The tearful eye,broken heart and blanched soul,it mocked.
Though her head said "stir",her heart had stopped,
Undeniably dead in its solitary shock.

Her shock slithered to a slew of tears,
Hot tears,wet tears that slashed and stabbed,
The human soul that through her ran.
Her spirit had been full and high,
Now it had abandoned her to feel cold and dry.
The heaving shoulders had no comforting arm,
A drooping head with no shoulder to lean upon.
Her stricken spirit and internal strife;
Oh!How her bereaved,broken body howled with despair
And then she shook with rage and tore her hair;

She whispered first and then shouted aloud-
"Why me? Why me?",to the unseen God.
Slowly inched the realization,
Reconciling her with the rhapsody of life;
The rhetor hung,the rheum she cleared.

The stump of sorrow still remains,
But from its sap grows a frail new shoot;
Rekindling her with undying hope...
